Advanced Solar Photonics, (ASP), the cutting-edge developer of equipment for solar panel processing, thin film solar cells, and commercial solar equipment, announced today its partnership with Rubelab, a center for environmental innovation.
This past weekend, Rubelab, a non-profit corporation which assists inventors in bringing new green technologies to market held a two day festival, Rubelab on the Green 2009. The festival featured alternative transportation vehicles and other green technology including The RubeStation, a portal to the power grid which includes a solar collection array and three power pedestals for easy charging of electric vehicles. Advanced Solar Photonics participated in the event and has partnered with Rubelab to provide thin film high efficiency SunPanelsT to power the RubeStations.
"Advanced Solar Photonics is pleased to partner with Rubelab ," said Edgardo Rodriguez, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Advanced Solar Photonics. "By working closely with Rubelab we are able to offer a superior thin film solar cell solution to generate power and actively participate in green efforts to shift away from fossil fuel consumption."
ASPs' new 45MW SolarFabT, a thin film module production plant, will produce the SunPanelsT. SolarFabT, which is breaking ground this year, has the ability to continue to increase in capacity and plans to initially create approximately 200 green jobs in Florida.
